The year was 1966. A group of Gujarati businessmen settled in Calcutta gave birth to the Institution. The idea was to impart holistic education to children irrespective of their socio-economic backgrounds. Over time, with the changes leading to an ever-increasing need for quality education, the Institution has evolved, flowering into the multi-disciplined, multi-cultural, multi-ethnic entity of the present.
The campus has world-class facilities such as astroturf, state of the art Library, air-conditioned smart classrooms, Wi-Fi enabled campus, world-class Games & Sports activity room are perhaps the best any student can ask for. It is located in the heart of the city, creating an ambiance for a comprehensive development.
On campus, students are exposed to a well-planned academic calendar complemented with more than 200 multifarious activities during a year starting from workshops, seminars, research work, industrial visits, historical walks, fests, culminating with social awareness all run and managed by the students. However, what really sets Bhawanipur apart is what its “Mission” of “shaping careers beyond expectation” by running Career Oriented Courses like; Commerce+, ACCA, CFP, Corporate Communication, Capital Market, Cyber Security and Global Management Skills, such courses are literally what takes students beyond the rigid framework of the syllabus, along with running 16 Knowledge circles ranging from dance, music to entrepreneurship, MUN, AISEC, CII-Yuva, Leadership training etc. for a holistic development.
Our USP is our student composition. Students who are diverse, self-motivated, go-getters. It is the ability of our students, to mold them to stretch the horizon of possibilities under supervision and guidance that sets our students apart. We want to continue to upgrade and supplement our curriculum to provide for industry and life ready skills to our students.
Our aim is to work unanimously to unleash the inherent intellectual, social and emotional capacities of all students who pass through the gate of this Institution. To instill in them the attitude to persevere and to realize their dream, and as an institution let us enable it all by giving them the wings, so that they may sore in the skies with belief that, “Sky is Not the Limit”.
